The Campaign Trail (online game)

The Campaign Trail is an online browser game originally created by Dan Bryan and is currently hosted on the American History USA website. The player plays as a candidate in a United States presidential election, choosing their political positions and campaign strategy. A new website called The New Campaign Trail hosted on GitHub has been created, where players can choose between base scenarios and fan-made mods pre-loaded on a mod loader or pasting the mod's code themselves.

Gameplay

The game involves the player making decisions as certain Presidential candidates on their campaign in historical scenarios, as the player's decisions and other events like RNG events determine how successful their chosen candidate is in a given run. Usually, the amount of questions a player has to answer in each game is 25, although the number can vary depending on certain mods.
