Girish Vanvari is a Chartered Accountant and Indian Entrepreneur. He founded Transaction Square, a Tax & business advisory firm.[1] Girish has 27+ years of Consultancy experience and was the tax head at KPMG India for 13 years.[2] Girish is a regular host and presenter at Tax conferences and an author for news publications like Economic Times, Mint, The Hindu and FirstPost.[3][4][5][6]

Arthur Andersen[edit]

In 1995, he joined Arthur Andersen and worked as a business advisor before joining KPMG.

KPMG[edit]

In 2004, Girish joined KPMG as India’s national tax head and worked on M&A deals and restructuring transactions.[7] He was responsible for advising private equity investors and assisted in transaction structuring.[8] Girish was referred to as ‘the hardest working man in any Big Four'.[9] In 2018, he stepped down and decided to start his entrepreneurial journey.[10]

Transaction Square[edit]

In April 2018, Girish co-founded Transaction Square, a tax, regulatory, and business advisory firm, with 4 other partners from the Big 4’s.[11][12]
