B.A. Wheeler (born August 2nd, 1980) is an award-winning Canadian musician, songwriter, record producer, recording engineer and mixing engineer. Born and raised in St. John's, Newfoundland but works and lives in Seoul, South Korea. He is the Owner of Union studio, and East Seoul Studio.

Wheeler has won and been nominated for Multiple Korean Music Awards for his work with Sunwoo Junga (2014 Best Pop Album) (Mixer) and (2016 Best Pop Song). Monoban (2016 Best Folk Song), The Barberettes (2015 Best New Artist, Best Pop Song, Best Pop Album). Jun Bum Sun And The Yangbans – “Revolution” (Best Rock Song).[1]

Career[edit]

Wheeler began as a musician in Canada from a young age. He moved and relocated to South Korea in 2007. He worked and played drums for notable Korean artists such as SG Wannabe, Kim Jin Ho and The Barberettes. He has worked, recorded and engineered for many top Korean artists such as;

Lee Hi, IU, Hyukho, Sun woo Jung-a, SG Wannabe, Kim Jin Ho, Life and Time, Chang Kiha, Jung Yong-hwa of CNBLUE, The Barberettes, Sweet Sorrow, Yangbans, Marty Freidman of Magadeth, Stuart Zender from Jamariquai. His compositions can also be heard in major Korean films such as Roller Coaster starring Ha Jungwoo[2] as well as music for video games. He is best known for co-writing and producing the Lee Hi hit song "Hold My hand" of YG Entertainment.[3]
