Benjamin Brasier (Thai: เบญจมินทร์ เบรเซียร์, born 27 January 1997), also known as Ben (Thai: เบน) is a Thai-British actor, host and model.[1] He is best known for his lead role as "Phana" in the Thai series 2Moons 2; he was also a member of the Thai boy group "OXQ" as being the visual and vocalist.
Early life and education[edit]
Benjamin Brasier was born on 27 January 1997 in Pathum Thani, Thailand. He is half British and Thai, his father is British and his mother is Thai. He has studied International Business at Rangsit University.
After he completed his high school studies in Thailand, Ben has been influenced by his father, moved to England where he lived there for 2 years, working as a waiter. He then moved back to Thailand where he continued his studies at Rangsit University.[2]
Career[edit]
2019: Debut
Benjamin started to pursue his acting career after he won the position as The Moon of his university where a member of the audience saw his acting potential. This lead him to become the lead role, Phana in the 2Moons 2 and signing the contract with the Motive Village company.
2020: Travel with Us and OXQ
In the first half of 2020, Benjamin made his debut in the music industry in the Thai boy group "OXQ", a group started under the Motive Village company with the casts of 2Moons 2 the series. They debuted on 4 June 2020 with their first single and music video ME (ผมเองครับ).[3]
Later on that same year, Benjamin was a host in the show Travel with Us[4], alongside with his 2Moons 2 costar, Earth Teerapat Ruangritkul.
2021: A new beginning
On 2 March 2021, Ben officially announced his departure from being the lead role of "Phana" in the 2Moons 3: The Series.[5] On 28 May 2021, STMD Thailand announced on their social media that Benjamin officially joined the agency and he is under new management, officially parting with his old agency Motive Village. On 30 November 2022, Ben officially announced his new project with Channel 3 in Be Mine SuperStar The Series as "Kevin".[6]
