Des Ryan

Des Ryan (born 1970) is an Irish businessman.

In January 2023 he was appointed as Chief Operating Officer of European Cyber Security Services Firm CWSI. [1]. [2] [3]

Prior to joining CWSI, Des had previously served on the leadership team of Microsoft Ireland. [4]. Where he lead the technical sales business for Ireland. He was also the spokesman for Cyber Security for Microsoft. [5] [6]

Prior to joining Microsoft, Des was on the executive committee of Dimension Data Australia (now part of NTT). He also served on the board of New Zealand based SQL Services Ltd.

Des is a sought after public speaker on all aspects of information technology and particularly Cyber Security. [7] [8] [9] [10] [11] [12]

Des is a graduate of St Munchin's College in Limerick, Limerick Institute of Technology and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
