Driver Support is when you get support from software to help you update your drivers on your PC.

Purpose[edit]

There are numerous websites on the web that offers support to people that are experiencing issues with their pc drivers or even printer drivers. These websites allows one with solutions of being able to update their drivers.

Software[edit]

A driver is a software component that lets the operating system and a device communicate with each other. If an application needs to read some data from a device. The application will call a function implemented by the operating system. The operating system calls a function implemented by the driver. The driver, written by the same company that designed and manufactured the device, knows how to communicate with the device hardware to get the data. After the driver gets the data from the device, it returns the data to the operating system, which returns it to the application.[1]

Some driver support tools can auto detect which driver you require or need to update.
