Issam Eid (Arabic: عصام عيد) (born November 8[when?] in Beirut, Lebanon) is a Lebanese-Canadian journalist/editor. His articles were published in ArabWheels and Telecom Review in 2005.[1][not in citation given] Both magazines are owned by his father.[2] ArabWheels stopped publishing in 2018,[3] while the website stopped updating in 2021.

In 2006, he practiced rally car racing with his mentor ex-rally driver, Adel Metni.[4] However, his short-lived career in racing never manifested.

In 2009, he was promoted to Operations Manager at his father’s company to supervise four magazine publications. He also finally published a soundtrack to accompany the words. He was also nominated among the jury committee for the Custom Cup Design 2010[5] on the panel of judges that ran for just one year.

In November 2012, he was the only Lebanese motoring journalist to represent his country Lebanon in comparison to multiple judges of other Arab nations. as a jury member on the panel of judges in the Middle-East Motor Awards[6] that took place in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates.

In January 2014, ArabWheels Web Television[7] was officially launched, although it did not last long.

In November 2015, Issam hosted the first ArabWheels Awards[8] ceremony with his father as chief guest.[9]

In April 2016, Issam wrote down the first automotive journalism course in the Middle East which encloses "How to become an automotive journalist? 8 techniques to lead you on the right path". The workshop was specially made for the Agenda Beirut[10] founded by someone called Tony Abou Ghazaly.[11] In the same year in July, he was chosen as "Brand Ambassador" for Woosh Car Care[12] in Beirut. He filmed a TV commercial about his experience with the first "Touchless Car Wash Tunnel[13]" in Lebanon.[better source needed]

Eid is currently the Head of Sales and Marketing at his father’s company Trace Media International – Mother company of Telecom Review Group.[citation needed]
