Jordan Bailey (born May 10, 1993) is a professional mixed martial artist from the Sacramento area. He has been professional competitor since 2013. Some notable promotions Jordan Bailey has competed in are Bellator and Cage Warriors.[1]
Personal life[edit]
He was born in the Sacramento Area. He is of Native American decent and is of the Pomo Tribe, which is located in Northern California near the San Francisco bay.[2] Jordan bailey has struggled with addiction in his younger adult years, and has admitting to overdosing and substance over the years however, with the help of UFC legend Chris Leben he has maintained sobriety and is making an MMA resurgence.[3]
Career[edit]
Bailey made his professional MMA debut in Gladiator Challenge in 2013, where he faced Tyler Sturges. Jordan Bailey won the fight via shoulder choke. This lead Bailey on a 3 fight win streak. Bailey's career started of with an astounding 5-1, however he would go to lose 4 of his next 5 fights. Some notable opponent were Kyles Reyes,Tyson Griffin, Max Rohskopf, and J. J. Ambrose.
At Cage Warriors 139 Jordan Bailey was bumped up to be be the main event vs Alex Trinidad when Max Rohskopf and Erick Sanchez fell through.[4] Jordan Bailey then made a resurgence and has won 2 straight wins via guillotine choke in a row. Jordan Bailey secured the W via choke in the first round vs Trinidad. [5] and then as the Co-main event again JJ Ambrose at CW 143 [6]
