Joshua Aaron is an Indian YouTuber who stepped into the limelight with his Tamil version of popular hit songs like Despacito,Shape of You and Closer. He is based in Chennai. His music has a unique blend which combines top International hits with his mother tongue Tamil, which gave him quite a following. Joshua Aaron was born and raised in Chennai. He pursued his studies at Loyola College,Chennai. Music was always a part of his bloodline, where he claims everyone in his family where tasteful listeners, which inspired him to create music. In an Interview with The Hindu, he said "I am not trained in music. My sister got a keyboard to learn and I just would play tunes that I have on my mind on it.” This soon turned into his passion. “During my college days in Loyola, I used to participate in almost every inter college culturals that gave me an assurance about my skills in music. I started to sing my own songs for fun initially and the unexpected was that people liking my voice and accepting me as a singer.”

Madan Gowri Joshua Aaron has been active in the music scene since his breakthrough in 2017. Following which, he released cover version of other International chart toppers namely Ed Sheeran - Shape of You , Imagine Dragons – Believer ; both of which surpassing over a million views. The YouTube channel has 300,000+ subscribers, 30+ videos spanning musical content of diverse genres, with the “90s Kids Favourites Mashup (ft.Laya)” , racking up over 5M+ views. The artist debuted as an independent musician with the single “Oru Paarvai ” , followed by the critically well-received suicide prevention track “Kangal Moodinal” . JA released an original MV titled “Caramel Kannale” , earlier in 2019. The duo (along with lyricist Aswin Krish) has created a niche by delivering mainstream hits in Tamil, with lyrics tailored to resonate with the local audience.
