Made-in-China.com (simplified Chinese: 中国制造网) is a Chinese business-to-business (B2B) platform founded in 1998. The organization is headquartered in Nanjing, China, with 24 branches across China and a subsidiary in Ontario, United States.

History[edit]

The platform connects global buyers, expecially small business entrepreneurs with China suppliers [1], offering access to wholesale products [2], and providing a secure platform for transactions.

In 2007, MIC formed a partnership with SGS group and launched the "Audited Supplier" service to its membership.

"In 2009, Focus Technology, which is the parent company of MIC, entered the Chinese capital market under the stock code 002315, raising CNY 1.23 billion in funding and becoming China's "over-subscription king" at the time.[3] . This code can be found on the List of companies listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange."

In 2016, MIC acquired Doba, a US-based dropshipping platform to provide a comprehensive e-commerce solution that helps manufacturers manage their inventory effectively.[4]

In 2020, MIC developed "Smart Expo" in response to travel restrictions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic to provide a simulated expo experience for buyers using VR and graphic technologies. It includes a 3D exhibition hall, virtual booth, online meeting room, and customized services.[5]

MIC was chosen as the official partner of the 127th Canton Fair for the Cross-border E-commerce Zone to help explore new digital growth opportunities.[6]

In 2023, MIC organized a direct purchase event in Malaysia.[7]

MIC has implemented measures to help Chinese enterprises enter the US market, including overseas warehouses and coordinated management of the entire trade chain. MIC offers online and offline training courses and partners with local CRM company to enhance the digital capabilities of foreign trade enterprises..[8]
