The National Distributist Party is a socially Conservative and economically Distributist political party in the United Kingdom. On the 24th of December 2021, the NDP became an official minor political party. [2]

The party is syncretic, and encompasses a variety of political thoughts from across the political spectrum, including Distributism, Agrarianism and Social conservatism; Their manifesto claims to stand for local families, local business, local communities, and the environment, all these are attributes for the economic principle of Distributism.[3]

History[edit]

In April 2020 the National Distributist Party was founded. In December 2021 the party officially became registered with the Electoral Commission.[2]

Tyler White stood as NDP candidate in the Stonehouse Town Council by-election.[4] Tyler White lost the election to Wendy Thomson (independent) who won 652 (91.8%) votes.[5][6] Tyler White won 58 (8.17%) of the votes in the election.[7]

After an uncontested election in 2024[8], the party is due to gain one seat on Nailsworth Town Council.
