Online Gurukul[1][2] is an Indian online learning platform that provides accessible and affordable education to individuals of all ages. Founded in July 2022, the platform aims to bridge the language and financial gaps prevalent in online education. Online Gurukul offers a wide range of services, including K12 education, competitive exam preparation, and skill development courses.[3]
History[edit]
In response to the global COVID-19 pandemic, which necessitated a shift towards online learning, Online Gurukul was conceived with the goal of providing high-quality education at a reasonable cost. The founders, Archit Yadav and Suraj (Golu) Bharade, recognized the challenges faced by learners in accessing courses due to language barriers and high fees. Their vision was to create an online learning platform primarily in Hindi and regional languages to cater to the majority of the Indian population who are more comfortable in their mother tongue.[4]

K12 Education[edit]
The platform provides free animated video lectures, ebooks, and notes for students from KG to 12th grade in both Hindi and English mediums. These resources cover the curriculum of various educational boards, including NCERT, MP Board, UP Board, Chhattisgarh Board, and all central and state boards in India. Additionally, Online Gurukul offers free notes and previous year papers for competitive exams such as IIT-JEE, NEET, International Maths Olympiad, National Science Olympiad, Navodaya Vidyalaya, Sainik School (AISSEE), NDA, CDS, Air Force (AFCAT), Indian Navy, and more. The platform also provides solutions for popular textbooks like DK Goel, HC Verma, RD Sharma, RS Agrawal, TS Grewal, ML Agrawal, Oswaal, Lakhmir Singh & Manjit Kaur.[5]
Competitive Exams[edit]
Online Gurukul offers video lectures and study materials for various competitive exams, entrance tests, and government job exams. Students preparing for exams such as CAT, MAT, GATE, CUET, SSC CGL, SSC CHSL, SSC MTS, RRB NTPC, RRB Group D, RRB JE, IBPS PO, IBPS Clerk, SBI PO, SBI Clerk, and TET can access comprehensive study resources to enhance their preparation.[6]
Skill Development[edit]
The platform provides video lectures for job-oriented skill development courses in Hindi and regional languages. These courses cover a wide range of subjects, including MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook), advanced Excel, communication skills, digital marketing, Python programming, spoken English, stress management, time management, resume building, interview skills, IoT, accounting, Tally Prime, Tally ERP 9, income tax, TDS, GST, stenography/shorthand, WordPress, NodeJS, Photoshop, Page Maker, Corel Draw, JavaScript, AutoCAD, computer fundamentals, MS DOS, basics of the internet, VB, HTML, C, C++, MySQL, CSS, English typing, Hindi typing, and more.[7]
