Subhash Charan is an educationist from Rajasthan and founder of Edu-tech startup, Dhurina which provides skill-development courses. He runs the coaching institute 'Kurukshetra Coaching Classes' and 'Subhash Gurukul'.[2][3]

Early life and family[edit]

Subhash Charan hails from a middle-class family in Taranagar, Rajasthan. His father is Amar Singh Charan.[4] He did his schooling from Pilania Academy and graduation from Chaudhary College in Rajasthan.[3][5]

Subhash Gurukul[edit]

Recently, Subhash inaugurated an institute named 'Subhash Gurukul' in Taranagar, Rajasthan with the purpose of preparing students for competitive examinations.[2]

Dhurina[edit]

His youtube channel 'GK Subhash Charan' has more than 1.8 million subscribers and has bagged a gold button from youtube. Dhurina is an e-learning platform which provides numerous online courses ranging from IBPS, SSC, Railway RRB, Mock Tests and Exam Prep application, Railway RRB, etc.[5][6] The focus of the courses is preparation of government exams.[7][8]

In December 2021, the Dhurina startup raised $1.2 million in its second funding round led by RCVF India Growth Fund, floated by Rajasthan Asset Management Company Pvt Ltd, and LetsVenture Technologies Pvt Ltd.[9][10][11]
