Èv van Hettmer (born 1987) is a slovak/austrian/german painter, living in Hamburg-Germany.

Early life and education[edit]

Van Hettmer was born in Nitra, Slovakia.[citation needed]

From 2007 to 2011 she studied painting and other media at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava, Slovakia. From 2012 to 2020 she studied contextual painting at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna, with Ashley Hans Scheirl. From 2017 she was guest student at the studio of performing arts-sculpture with Monica Bonvicini, in Vienna. From 2018 to 2020 she took part in the ASA program of the University of Fine Arts of Hamburg, where she studied under Anselm Reyle (drawing/painting) and Simon Denny (new media).[citation needed]
