Ōharae-shiki

Ōharae-shiki is a Shinto ritual also known as the Great Purification[1] It is hosted annually on June 30th.[2] It is also hosted on December 30th.[3] The last one is sometimes done on New years eve instead.[4]
The name Oharae literally means Great Harae
Oharae no Kotoba are prayers used in this process.[5]
It is also done at Isonokami Shrine
