.406 Ventures is an American venture capital firm focused on early stage and growth investments, with a focus on enterprise related opportunities.[1] The firm was founded in 2005 in Boston, Massachusetts.[2] As of December 2019, the firm had $1 billion Assets Under Management and participated in 62 investments.[3]

History[edit]

The firm was founded in 2005 by three partners: Maria Cirino, who co-founded Guardent (acquired by VeriSign in 2003 for $140 million); former Razorfish Chief Financial Officer Larry Begley; and Liam Donohue, founder of Boston venture firm Arcadia Partners.[4]

The firm has raised 4 funds, with the fourth raising $294 million.[5]
