"...trying to escape the inevitable." is the second and last EP released by Pencey Prep before releasing their debut album Heartbreak in Stereo. Oddly, the EP doesn't feature Trying to Escape the Inevitable, the namesake of the EP. Even more weirdly, "The Secret Goldfish" is played twice. All songs on the EP are demo versions that are either very hard to find or just not on the internet yet.
