1-2-3 Scream! is a children's horror anthology presented by a fictitious author, R.U. Ginns, writing from a "booby-trapped hideout near a bridge, not far from a major American city".

The stories are "miniature, horrible, morality tales," focused on the darker side of things in a modern child's world.[1][2]

It is the first title in the 3-part Scream! book series, to be released by Penguin Random House 2022–2023.[3]

The book was written by Russell Ginns, who has written over 100 books and also designed video game software.[4]

The audiobook edition was narrated by multiple performers, including Kathleen McInerney, Grover Gardner, Marcy Heisler, and The Bobs.
