102 Anti-Tank Regiment (Australia)
The 102 Anti-Tank Regiment (Australia) was formed out of the 2nd Anti-Tank Regiment during January 1942 initially as a recruiting and training regiment which focused on drawing its numbers from the Central West Tablelands of NSW.

History[edit]
The 102 Anti-Tank Regiment (Australia) was formed on the 27th of January 1942 out of the 2nd Anti-Tank Regiment which was based at the Lancer Barracks in Parramatta. The unit relocated to Cowra to recruit from the local populus along with initial training.
The regiment moved north up the NSW coast during 1942 to Rutherford, Mittagong and Dungog before reaching Kempsey where they were based and continued training.
On the 23rd of November 1942 the unit split out into the following 3rd Australian Armoured Division Units
- 5 Australian Anti-Tank Battery
- 6 Australian Anti-Tank Battery
- 231 Australian Light Anti-Aircraft Regiment
- 232 Australian Light Anti-Aircraft Regiment
