1250 Broadway is a 39-storey office tower taking a full block-front on Broadway, between 31st and 32nd Streets in New York City. It was designed by Shreve Lamb & Harmon and built in 1968. Still the tallest reinforced concrete building in Manhattan, its concrete 'waffle' ceilings can be seen on floors where they have been exposed. It also includes a Japanese restaurant on the top floor and 150-car underground parking garage.[1]
The building houses approximately 800,000 square feet of office, retail, and parking.
The building was previously called the Cooper-Bregstein Building and is 447.18 ft tall.[2]
Other notable works by Shreve, Lamb & Harmon include the Empire State Building and 3 Park Avenue.
