125 group

The 125 Group[1] are a group of people dedicated to the preservation of InterCity 125 (High Speed Trains) in the United Kingdom. It was founded in 1994[2] and are based at the Great Central Railway (Nottingham). The group currently own multiple Mark 3 coaches[3] and formerly maintained 41001 the only surviving prototype HST which is owned by the National Railway Museum.[4][5]
When the Class 43 powercars were being repowered in the mid-2000s, the 125 Group obtained 10 Paxman Valenta engines.[6]
