In geometry, a 144-gon is a polygon with 144 sides.

Regular 144-gon properties[edit]

A regular 144-gon is represented by Schläfli symbol {144} and also can be constructed as a truncated 72-gon, t{72}, or a twice-truncated 36-gon, tt{36}, or a three-fold-truncated 18-gon, ttt{18}, or a four-fold-truncated nonagon, tttt{9}.

One interior angle in a regular 144-gon is 177.5°, meaning that one exterior angle would be 2.5°.

Since 144 = 24 × 32, a regular 144-gon is not constructible using a compass and straightedge,[1] but is constructible if the use of an angle trisector is allowed.

144-gram[edit]

A 144-gram is a 144-sided star polygon. There are 23 regular forms given by Schläfli symbols {144/5}, {144/7}, {144/11}, {144/13}, {144/17}, {144/19}, {144/23}, {144/25}, {144/29}, {144/31}, {144/35}, {144/37}, {144/41}, {144/43}, {144/47}, {144/49}, {144/53}, {144/55}, {144/59}, {144/61}, {144/65}, {144/67}, and {144/71}.
