Founded in 2009 by Sylvain Marcotte, the company successfully operates in Canadian and USA markets offering mobile-first solutions for associations, governments, unions, and other public and business organisations. In 2016, 14 Oranges developed its own CMS platform for mobile application development, named Info Grove.

14 Oranges was founded in 2009 in Richmond, British Columbia, Canada, and organised its own software team and in-house business development and tech support units. The company was founded by Sylvain Marcotte as a group of experts from various disciplines — managers, developers, designers, and graphic artists.
