15 Days is a adventure casual indie video game developed by German studio House of Tales and published by THQ Nordic. 15 Days was released for Microsoft Windows on June 25, 2010.[1]

Development[edit]

The game used the Cougar engine, which was developed in-house by House of Tales. The engine allowed the developers to use tracking shots and pans which are usually impossible with pre-rendered backgrounds.[2]

Gameplay[edit]

The player controls three characters who are art thieves that steal artwork and give the money they make to charity.[3]

Reception[edit]

The game received mixed reviews from critics. According to review aggregator Metacritic, 15 Days has a score of 63.[4] It also earned a gamerscore of 4.83 on Whatoplay based on 104 user reviews.[5]

Adventure Gamers criticized the game for its its gameplay, bugs, and lack of content, stating there were only two standalone puzzles, and that the most of the game is just walking between rooms looking for something to do. When you meet an NPC person to talk to, you just click a single dialog icon and they tell a player something, without any other interaction on the player part, no choices for what to say at all. [1] Gamestar felt the game's puzzles were too simple for adventure gaming aficionados.[6] Gameswelt praised the appealing and authentic nature of the game's aesthetics.[7]

On whatoplay, the game earned a gamerscore of 4.84 based on 104 gamer reviews.[8]
