1670 Minnaert (1934 RZ) is a main-belt asteroid discovered on September 9, 1934 by H. van Gent at Johannesburg (LS).
Photometric observations of this asteroid collected during 2004–2005 show a rotation period of 3.528 ± 0.001 hours with a brightness variation of 0.23 ± 0.02 magnitude.[1]
