17CHíLLS is a Ugandan afro-fusion artist, songwriter and a producer .[1]
He was born on 17th October in the early 2000s. He is the eldest of two brothers, children of Ocaya Gasper and Amaguru Rose. His youngest brother is called Asiku Norbert.
17Chills, from 2009 to 2015, went to Paidha Model Primary School. In 2016, he was awarded a Uganda Certificate of Education at Our Lady of Africa SS, Namilyango and in 2022, he was awarded a Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education from St. Joseph's College, Layibi where his passion for music grew stronger. He is currently at Gulu University.
After growing up listening to music from many different genres, 17Chills picked up interest and decided to fuse all of it with afrobeats. He always had the passion of creating art of his own. [2]
In 2023, 17Chills dropped his debut EP, Wheel Of Emotions (WOE), a four-track project which is a masterpiece and is a rollercoaster of emotions.
He also has other single tracks like Lock Myself, a song about depression, Dreams, a song about a mysterious lover, and Party Girls which features LVegad.
He is a super talented and promising artist to look out for next year.
