The 1887 South British Football Soccer Association season refers to the soccer competitions contested under the organisation of the South British Football Soccer Association in 1887. Across the two senior divisions and one cup, this was the third season of organised soccer in New South Wales.

League competitions[edit]

1887 Sydney Badge Series[edit]

The 1887 Sydney Badge Series was the third edition of the Sydney Badge Series.[1] Seven clubs played in the league; Caledonians, Canterbury, Granville, Parkgrove, Pyrmont Rangers, Pyrmont Rovers and Wanderers. Caledonians won their third consecutive Sydney Badge Series.

1887 Northern Premiership[edit]

The 1887 Northern Premiership was the second edition of the Northern Premiership, the state league for clubs in Northern NSW.[1] New team Wallsend Rovers entered the league this season.

1887 NSW Association Cup[edit]

The 1887 NSW Association Cup was the third of organised cup competitions of New South Wales soccer and the NSW Association Cup.[2] Hamilton Athletic won the cup for the first time winning 4–1 against Granville in the Final.
