The 1981 Aloha Bowl was a college football bowl game scheduled to be played between Drake Bulldogs and Hawaii Warriors (then Hawaii Rainbows) at Aloha Stadium in Honolulu, Hawaii. The Aloha Bowl did not receive NCAA certification for the 1981 season, so the game was not held.[citation needed] The first Aloha Bowl was held in 1982. The 1981 game was scheduled to feature the runners-up from the Missouri Valley Conference and the Western Athletic Conference.[citation needed]
