1996 Florida A&M Rattlers football team[edit]
The 1996 Florida A&M Rattlers football team represented Florida A&M University (FAMU) during the 1996 NCAA Division I-AA football season. The Rattlers were led by head coach Billy Joe and played their home games at Bragg Memorial Stadium. They were members of the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, competing in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC). The team finished the regular season with a 9–3 record, 7–0 in MEAC play, and qualified for the NCAA I-AA playoffs where they lost in the quarterfinals to Troy State.
