Script error: No such module "AfC submission catcheck". The 1997 Antelope Canyon flash floods occurred on August 12, 1997, in the highly touristic spot of Antelope Canyon near Page, Arizona. The flood swept away 12 hikers, 11 of them were killed and 1 was injured. Most of the victims were tourists from Europe.
