"1998 Truman" (stylized in all caps) is a song by American hip-hop musical group, Brockhampton. It was written by Kevin Abstract, Romil Hemnani, Russell "Joba" Boring, Jabari Manwa and Ciarán McDonald as the producers of the song, along with Matt Champion, Merlyn Wood and Dijon Duenas, who's contributed the background vocals. It was released by Question Everything, Inc. on July 18, 2018 during the second audition of group's "Things We Lost In The Fire" radio on Beats 1. The title of the song is a reference to the 1998 movie, The Truman Show. Its official music video premiered on the band's Youtube channel on July 20, 2018.
