2-Oxo-clopidogrel is an inactive metabolite of clopidogrel prodrug molecule.[1]
During phase-I metabolism of clopidogrel in mammals, three oxidative enzymes including CYP2C19, CYP2B6, and CYP1A2 are responsible for converting clopidogrel to 2-oxo-clopidogrel.[2]
