The 2001 Italian Super Production Championship season was the first edition of the Super Production category after the end of the Italian Superturismo Championship in 1999.
The season began in Misano on 22 April and finished in Vallelunga on 14 October, after ten rounds. The championship was won by Fabio Francia with Alfa Romeo 147.
