The 2001 Lancaster, Pennsylvania mayoral election was held on 6 November 2001 in order to elect the mayor of Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Incumbent Republican Mayor Charlie Smithgall won re-election against Democratic nominee Ed Ruoff.

The general election was held on 6 November 2001. Incumbent Mayor Charlie Smithgall won re-election by a margin of 2,085 votes against his opponent Democratic candidate Ed Ruoff, thereby retaining Republican control over the office of Mayor of Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
