2006 Missouri State Auditor election
The Missouri State Auditor election, 2006 took place on November 7, 2010. Incumbent Auditor Claire McCaskill declined to run for reelection, and instead successfully ran for the United States Senate. Democrat Buchanan County Auditor Susan Montee faced off against Republican Platte County Auditor Sandra Thomas. Montee prevailed by a margin of 10 points.
