The 2007–08 Western Kentucky Hilltoppers men's basketball team represented Western Kentucky Universityduring the 2007-08 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Hilltoppers were led by head coach Darrin Horn in his fifth season and played their home games at E. A. Diddle Arena in Bowling Green, Kentucky as members of Sun Belt Conference. Senior Courtney Lee was the Sun Belt Player of the Year.[1]
The team would advance to the Sweet 16 defeating the Drake Bulldogs and San Diego Toreros before losing to the Kevin Love lead UCLA Bruins[2].
Previous Season[edit]
The Hilltoppers finished the 2006–07 season with 22–11, 12–6 in the Sun Belt Conference to finish in first place. They lost the conference tournament championship game to South Alabama Jaguars 95-70. The Hilltoppers then lost in the first round of the National Invitation Tournament[3].

The Hilltoppers went 29-7 (16-2) finishing 2nd in the Sun Belt East. They won the Sun Belt Conference Tournament[4].
