Local elections were held in Sweden on 19 September 2010 to elect regional councils and municipal councils. The elections were held alongside general elections.
Regional elections
Turnout
Voter turnout increased across the country by an average of 2.4 percentage points.

Municipal elections
Turnout
Turnout increased, compared to the 2006 Swedish municipal elections, in all but two of the 290 municipalities: Bengtsfors and Bjuv. There was a difference of almost 30 percentage points between Lomma, which had the highest (90.5%), and Haparanda, which had the lowest (61%) turnout.[2]
Results
The table refers to the election results in all municipalities after the re-election in Örebro on 15 May 2011.[3]
