The 2012 East Africa Premier League was the second edition of a regional domestic Twenty20 tournament started by Cricket Kenya to address failing cricket standards in the region. Having gone through the round robin stage unbeaten Rwenzori Warriors defeated Rising Stars Chuis in the final to win the title for the first time.[3]
