The four competitions at the 2013 FIRS World Inline Hockey Championships were played at two venues, 14 miles from each other, within California, United States. The Honda Center, which seats 17,174, is located in Anaheim. The Rinks Huntington Beach Inline, which has two rinks, is located in Huntington Beach.

21 teams competed in the senior men's tournament, 13 teams in the senior women's, 14 teams in the junior men's and six teams in the junior women's. The junior men's tournament began on July 7, 2013 and the junior women's tournament began on July 8. Both junior's concluded on July 13. The senior men's and women's tournaments began on July 15, 2013. The senior's concluded on July 20.
