The 2014 Saltillo BAe 125 crash occurred on 19 April 2014 in Saltillo, Mexico, near Plan de Guadalupe International Airport, when a British Aerospace 125 corporate jet carrying Mexican DJ Antonio Dávila Campos crashed into an industrial park in low visibility and caught fire. The aircraft was carrying the pilot, co-pilot and six passengers.[1] Eight people died in the accident, with no survivors among the passengers and crew. At the time of the accident, visibility was poor, with forward visibility just 800 meters.
According to witnesses, the aircraft clipped the roof of a building, and crashed into the intersection of the Industrial Automotive and Industrial Metalworking Industrial Park in Saltillo.[2] Rescuers and emergency crews arrived minutes after the crash, but all eight occupants had sustained fatal injuries, the aircraft having come to a rest inverted and being destroyed by a post-crash fire. The post-crash fire threatened the general vicinity of the industrial park, but firefighters quickly extinguished the blaze.[3] The flight recorders were recovered shortly after the crash by a team of investigators.
