The 2017–18 Burgos CF season will be the 24th season in the history of Burgos CF. It will be its 16th season in Segunda División B, the fifth one since its last promotion.

Overview[edit]

On 10 July 2017, the club announced Patxi Salinas as new head coach.[1] Due to geographical criteria, for this season Burgos moved to Group 2.

Salinas was sacked on 5 February 2018, after a 2–0 defeat against UD Logroñés. This was the second consecutive loss of the team, that dropped to the ninth position. As in the previous season, Director of football Nacho Fernández took the helm of the team as caretaker.

Two weeks later, on 19 February 2018, Alejandro Menéndez was signed as new coach of Burgos until the end of the season.
