2017 South African Cabinet Reshuffle
The 2017 South African Cabinet Reshuffle was a major reshuffle of the Second Cabinet of Jacob Zuma that took place on 30 March 2017. South African President Jacob Zuma, then three years into his second and final term, sacked or replaced five Ministers and nine Deputy-Ministers. The event has been described by locals as a "Night of the Long Knives".[1][2]
