The 2018 Merrimack Valley Gas Explosions was a disaster that occurred on September 13th, 2018 at approximately 5:20pm in the Merrimack Valley communities of Lawrence, Andover, and North Andover.[1] Massachusetts authorities blamed over-pressurized gas lines and prompted everyone in the three towns with gas service to evacuate immediately.
