The 2019 Liberal National Party of Brisbane leadership election was held on 31 March 2019 to elect a new lord mayor of Brisbane and leader of the Liberal National Party (LNP) on Brisbane City Council. The election was triggered by the resignation of incumbent Graham Quirk, which was announced on 29 March.[1][2]
Deputy lord mayor Adrian Schrinner defeated fellow councollor Peter Matic in a vote of LNP councillors, and was formally sworn in on 8 April 2019. Holland Park Ward councillor Krista Adams was elected deputy lord mayor, replacing Schrinner.[3]
