On May 4, 2019, the city of San Antonio, Texas will hold an election to choose the next mayor of San Antonio.[1] The election will be a nonpartisan blanket primary. If no candidate takes a majority of over 50% of the total vote, the two top vote-earners will advance to a runoff election. Incumbent mayor Ron Nirenberg is expected to run for a second term in the office.
