2019 Southern Conference League

The 2019 Southern Conference League was the first season of the Southern Conference League, a British rugby league division in the Rugby Football League's tier 4. It is the highest level of amateur rugby league in the South of England and South Wales.

Teams applied to enter the 2019 competition via application to the RFL and the league was announced on 17th December 2018.[1]

Format[edit]

East Divison[edit]

All teams play each other once (8 fixtures)

East Divison Playoffs

The top 4 teams then play each other again. Points are carried over in this stage.

East Division Plate

The bottom 5 teams play each other again (4 fixtures). Teams ranked 5-8 then play Semi-Finals and Final for the Plate (5th vs 8th, 6th vs 7th)

West Division[edit]

All teams play each other three times (12 fixtures)

2nd West vs 3rd East

Winners play semi finals and Grand Final, held at Aldershot.
