The World Pull-Up Championships are a sporting event organized by the World Pull-Up Organization.

The inaugural World Pull-Up Championships were held at CrossFit 8000 in Espoo, Finland on June 15-16, 2019. 70 competitors from 10 countries (Brazil, Bulgaria, Croatia, Estonia, Finland, Poland, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Sweden and United Kingdom) participated in the Championships to compete in the Weighted Pull-Up or the Pull-Up Repetitions or both. Disciplines

The athlete may use any grip (supinated, pronated, or mixed). The pull-up starts from a dead hang, and in the up position, the chin must clear the bar both horizontally and vertically.

Pull-Up Repetitions

The athlete has one attempt to perform as many pull-ups as possible in one set.

Weighted Pull-Up

The athlete has three attempts to perform a single pull-up with as much added weight as possible.

Weight Categories

Men

60 kg, 70 kg, 80 kg, 90 kg, 100 kg, 110 kg and +110 kg.

Women

50 kg, 60 kg, 70 kg and +70 kg.
