The 2020-2021 flu season of the northern hemisphere winter was an unusually low flu season[1] due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and associated Non-pharmaceutical intervention measures. With widespread social distancing and mask-wearing, flu's transmissibility was reduced, the flu season therefore barely happened.
