The 2019-20 Pioneer Football League was the 5th edition of the youth grassroots football league in Bangladesh hosted and run by the Bangladesh Football Federation.[1] The main goal of this league to produce future stars for national team and clubs. Though the previous seasons of the league were held in accordance with the U-16 format, but starting from this edition, it will be U-15 tournament.[2] This season 70 teams participated in the league while 20 of them qualified for the 'Super League'.[3]
