2020 Washington County, Maine shootings
On February 3, 2020, a gunman shot four people in three separate homes in Washington County, Maine, in the rural towns of Machias and Roque Bluffs. Three people died as a result. A 63-year-old man was arrested on being suspected for committing the shooting spree.[1]

Those killed were a 33-year-old man, 49-year-old woman, and a 57-year-old man. The injured was a woman. The shootings occurred in Jonesboro, Machias, and Roque Bluffs. The suspect, 63-year-old Thomas Bonfanti, is held on murder charges. According to police, he knew the victims, but an official motive has not been established.[2]
